Job Vacancies at Parker Bathrooms & Kitchens

WAREHOUSE MANAGER – FULL TIME

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working person to join our logistics team to aid in the delivery of bathrooms and kitchens and the general running of our warehouse on a full-time basis.

Salary is negotiable according to experience. Excellent package awaits the suitable candidate with healthcare package included after initial trial period.

This is a full-time role. You will be required to work Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of goods (including full kitchen and bathroom deliveries) to the Brighton & Hove and surrounding area, and occasionally further afield
  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving and storing goods with care
  • Manage the delivery schedule, liaising with clients to ensure products are delivered in a timely manner, or to arrange on-site collections
  • Communicate regularly with our sales team to manage expectations of clients
  • Liaise with suppliers to arrange returns
  • Record all day-to-day admin on our business management software, EasyQuote
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximise productivity and minimise errors
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular assessment of stocked products
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Additional ad hoc duties as and when required to maintain the smooth running of operations

Requirements:

  • Be fluent in both written and oral English
  • Be able to work independently, act on your own initiative and be self-motivated whilst also being able to work well within a vibrant and friendly team
  • Good IT skills. Capable of picking up new IT systems quickly and with ease (full training on EasyQuote software provided)
  • Possess strong, clear communication skills, face to face, by telephone and written
  • Good organisational skills
  • Capable of working with a methodical approach and able to prioritise your workload efficiently
  • Approachable, friendly manner
  • Be able to learn and take responsibility for your own area
  • A full, clean UK drivers license is essential

The following experience is not essential but could be advantageous to the candidate:

  • Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role
  • Previous experience driving a Luton van
  • Managing a team
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
  • DIY skills for general maintenance

SALES DESIGNER – FULL TIME

We are looking for an experienced sales designer to join our team.

Although training will be provided, experience in design and sales is essential. Proven track record within a sales-driven environment required.

Salary is negotiable according to experience. Excellent package awaits the suitable candidate along with a generous commission scheme and uncapped earnings, plus healthcare package included after initial trial period.

The showroom is open 6 days per week Mon-Sat. You will be required to work Saturdays with a set rota day allocated in the week.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving opportunities to maximise sales in bathrooms, kitchens & bedrooms across a wide sector, to both residential and commercial clients of varying budgets
  • To achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Greeting existing and prospect customers into our showroom and qualifying leads accordingly
  • Conduct client presentations, offering both technical and design expertise
  • Consult and advise clients throughout project, through to fit-out and completion, building a positive customer rapport
  • Conduct site visits to residential/contract sites
  • Produce CAD visualisations and technical drawings
  • Created bespoke solutions where necessary
  • Produce orders via Easy Quote system
  • Manage stock, liaising with suppliers and warehouse team to ensure goods arrive in timely manner
  • Any other ad hoc duties deemed as reasonable within the scope of the job role

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Min. two year’s sales & design experience
  • A flair for design, an eye for detail and a creative approach to selling
  • Excellent IT skills to include MS Office
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence required

The following experience is not essential but would be advantageous to the candidate:

  • Experience in a showroom environment
  • Experience using EQ Software, Winner/Compusoft

SHOWROOM ADMINISTRATOR – FULL TIME

We are looking for an experienced administrator to help our team, and to ensure that we continue with our reputation for great design and excellent customer service. You will play a crucial role in providing the MD, sales/design team, accounts and warehouse with high quality admin support.

Salary is negotiable according to experience. Excellent package awaits the suitable candidate with healthcare package included after initial trial period.

This is a full-time role. You will be required to work Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client orders are administered and managed appropriately through to installation. This includes; placing purchase orders, chasing order confirmations from suppliers, liaising with accounts regarding payments from clients & to suppliers, liaising with warehouse regarding goods-in, chasing suppliers where necessary for outstanding orders
  • Managing installer diary
  • Sending standard documents to clients via email
  • Managing the customer services email, responding to and logging customer issues/queries in a timely manner
  • Managing and redirecting incoming calls, managing voicemail messages
  • Managing and maintaining software catalogues for EQ and Winner
  • General maintenance and tidiness of showrooms, ordering stationery supplies and sundry items where required
  • Ensuring client comfort when they are visiting the showroom – teas/coffees etc
  • Managing brochures and sample libraries
  • Additional ad hoc duties as and when required to maintain the smooth running of the showroom

Requirements:

  • Applicants MUST provide both a cover letter and CV to be considered for the role. You will have previous experience in an administrative role
  • Exceptional organisational skills & attention to detail
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Capable of working with a methodical approach and able to prioritise your workload efficiently
