Large black slate tiles requested for the master bedroom en suite bathroom at Sackville Gardens. These provide an startling backdrop to this impressive bathroom.
A wetroom enclosure with a large area for his and hers showers makes quite an impact with a bespoke black smoked glass division allowing entrance from both sides of the shower. Linear slate random set mosaic tiles make an interesting component to the entire shower wall presenting two oversized shower head columns.
It was important to design around the large sash window which provides a feeling of clear space and light on the room and provides a contrast to the darker walls.
A minimalist look and additional space was created by replacing furniture with wall hung bath ware. Italian square shaped porcelain sanitary ware was selected; including double basins below designer ambient lit mirrored cabinets.
A hand made tiled shelving unit was incorporated that provided a clever way to store towels and accessories. To compliment the wetroom feel there are frosted glass panel doors to the master bedroom. Overall the bathroom replicates a feeling of prestige and an oasis of calm that can usually be found at exclusive spas and hotels.
Parkers were extremely helpful in assisting making our dream bathrooms a reality. Their product knowledge, choice and design assistance was vast and they were also able to recommend a reliable bathroom fitting company – the complete package.
