Having previously worked with Parker Bathrooms & Kitchens on projects with a design focus, the clients, one of whom is an interior designer by profession, knew that we could help create an impressive bathroom or two for their new family home.
For the modern minimalist bathroom that all the family could enjoy; a wet room was requested and specified to be separate from the bath. The dramatic colour combination of black and white was a practical choice.
A bespoke glass wet room enclosure was created in a limited space by the use of a cut out panel across the bath surround. The clear, thick glass was selected to be robust and durable for a busy family with young children. The wet room has a floor tray which has been tiled over and a cubby hole recess created to provide space for washing products.
A striking dog tooth glass mosaic pattern from Bisazza runs seamlessly across the floor and bath surround. The designer tiles are practical and long lasting yet a remarkable addition to the bathroom.
White square shaped bath ware was chosen and the double ended bath was selected to be able to bath more than one child at a time! Matching double basins with wall hung taps and attached heated towel rails make a beautiful yet functional addition. A top of the range cabinet with the shaving sockets inside is backlit for additional light.
In summary the bathroom provides an enduring yet stylish addition to the family home that will be admired for many years to come.
Parkers were extremely helpful in assisting making our dream bathrooms a reality. Their product knowledge, choice and design assistance was vast and they were also able to recommend a reliable bathroom fitting company – the complete package.
